The Croft (Barlinnie Visitors Centre) is an independent charity who are there at every visit, 7 days a week for the family and friends of prisoners. We do this by – Providing support, advice and practical help to visitors at HMP Barlinnie, events and activities. Offering a welcoming space for families to relax and chat before & after visits. Recruiting, training & developing volunteers from the community. Establishing links with other service providers and voluntary organisations, working with prisoners’ families to build partnerships that will enhance the quality of life for families and prisoners. Providing an outreach service in local communities, support, activities/events, community development, IT access for virtual visits
